Westie Lost in Oak Grove, Found 9 Days Later...

April 6, 2017

"Beloved Westie, Chloe got loose on March 26, 2017 at Exit 28 Oak Grove, Missouri at approximately 1:15pm. We were traveling with our two Westies from Colorado to a move to Indiana when this happened. We are happy to report she WAS FOUND 9 days later on Tuesday, April 4th in Oak Grove behind Lobner Transmission. She is home safe in Indiana now and we had our first day as a whole family today in Indiana house. There are many many people who helped make this happen
And hope we dont forget anyone. Many many thank yous to Linda Pearce (our first responder of help and fliers on Sunday, March 24th) and another man (do not have his name) who walked up and down both sides of I-70, and the median for miles searching for her. Kelli Hoy-Morrison, an employee of TA Travel Fuel Center who told everyone she came into contact with about our lost Chloe and spent this Monday afternoon with her two children helping us search for her, Mitchell Cole from All Pet Brigade Kim Kim White with Westie Rescue of Missouri who along with Angie Davis, Dana Conyers, Cheryl Sanford Aston, Lori Weibley Lamb, helped in multiple hour searches over several long days looking for Chloe and putting up fliers all over town intersections. Matt Dankenbring and Angie Dutton for helping to try to locate Chloe with their drone, Maureen Keedwell of Oak Grove Animal Control Dept who helped in several searches.

Big Big thank yous to Cooper Trailer Sales, Oak Grove Inn, Oak Grove Police Dept, KOA Oak Grove Campground, Petro Fuel Center, TATravel Fuel Center and really just the whole friendly wonderful town of Oak Grove, Missouri. We are forever grateful and full of love for your town and the people who helped us. May God Bless You and everyone in this town. We feel we gained a big
Oak Grove family. Much love, Caroline and Bill, Bailey and Chloe."
